Our aim is to help women, whether married or single, to take charge of their financial future.  We aim to inspire and motivate women to learn how to accumulate wealth.  It is a skill that can be mastered, and with careful planning, plus perseverance it is possible to craft a secure retirement. 

Women care about creating financial security, not only for themselves, but for their loved ones.  They are often conscientious savers who manage the household budget with considerable skill.  Yet compared to men, we face additional challenges to building wealth.  We may take many years out of the workplace to raise children.  Social Security Income and retirement benefits are based on the accumulation of lifetime earnings, therefore a woman who has been a stay-at-home mom typically receives less of both at retirement.

Despite all our progress, there is still not equal pay parity between men and women.  We also live longer than men!  That’s an advantage but it is certainly a challenge to make sure you do not outlive your income.  Women today don’t want to spend their retirement just barely getting by.  After all you work very hard so why don’t you design the retirement you deserve?

Among people aged 65, 71% of the women who are single or widowed, live below the poverty line compared to 29% of men.*  If you knew that there was even the slightest chance that you or your mother, daughter or sister would be poor in old age what would you do NOW to prevent it?
